I know this will not apply to a lot of people but this was a mixed bag on the Steam Deck. At least it is native Linux so I don't gotta deal with Proton.
First off, the game only seems to support 16:9 aspect ratios judging by the available resolutions I had. Not a big deal but since the Deck is 16:10, there is some small black bars at the top and bottom. Slightly annoying but certainly not the first game I've dealt with it.
I know the game lacks controller support, I saw that in the supported inputs. I figured I can just look at the controls in the settings and just use a custom Steam Input layout. Unless I missed something obvious, I couldn't find a layout. Which made it much harder to set something up.
The game auto set the resolution to 960 x 540. Not an issue, I just set it to 1280 x 720... and now the text is tiny and barely on the text box. This seemed to resolve itself by switching the resolution back and forth a few times though.
The game itself runs just fine though. In the hour I played there was no significant bugs and I got the general impression it was pretty polished and a lot of care went into this. I 'm not here to bash the game, just some observations I made while playing on my Deck.

I think that it was meant to be a countdown to noon eastern time but was accidentally set to midnight since the steam version is set to noon, if I had to guess.

Interesting concept but not an original one. I didn't particularly like the art or the story. I found it very slow moving and there was nothing that really captured the interest of the reader. This game may suit someone looking for a relaxing, easygoing type of game. I prefer those with a richer, deeper story. Overall, it is not my cup of tea.

I don't think so. Like I stated, it isn't for me. I prefer games that draw me in from the beginning. This game did not appeal to me. I see a lot of people downvoted my review as well. How silly to downvote someone of a different opinion, simply for disliking the game! It had potential, but it needs a lot of work, this game. Anyway, to each their own.
It's totally okay if the game isn't for you! Games with stat raising tend to have a much different flow than traditional VNs, and lots of people aren't about that. But that's ok. Play what you like :)

I really love this Game, it is so well written and one of the best games I played. :) But there is one issue. So when I save my Game and close it completely, the next time I open it, my whole game progress is gone. Like, I can't click on continue, just on new Game. Is that normal? Because that's a bit annoying, since I cannot take a break without loosing my progress, so I always have to start a new game :(
that is definitely not normal. Are you saving using the save menu or are you using the Quick Save button? If it's the latter, try saving normally by pressing ESC to get to the save menu or using the pull down menu at the top
No, it only crahes once the Game is closed. I started a new game, saved immediately and Quick saved. I even returned to the title, but there everything was just fine and I could click 'continue'. But when I closed the Game and opened it again, everything was gone and I wasn't able to click 'continue'.
I thought the same thing, I downloaded it on Steam to make sure I didn't forget it and started going through the demo again after last playing it in 2021. The game has improved so much since last time I played and I cant wait to see what the final product will look like!

It's not currently on the roadmap for initial release as the game was originally designed as an otome with a female protagonist. This is something we are definitely going to include in future works, however, as it's been requested quite a bit :)

Based on others that have experienced this issue, it's a video driver issue. Try updating your graphics card driver and see if that fixes the issue. Please let me know!

Really good demo! The storyline is similar to things we have seen in the past but, the atmosphere is completely different! I love, love, LOVE the personality aspect of the game!!!! I also love, love, love the MC and the love interests plus side characters! Every single character seems important to this game. I also love the amount of choice the player gets while playing. Normally, it's like 2 dialog options that lead to one ending or another, but in this demo it feels like your choices are all that more important, plus you have more than 2 dialog options and I really felt like every single time, there was an option similar to something I, myself, would have said.
I literally cannot wait for this game to release!!
I loved this demo when I played it!! Best game I've played so far on my pc. I loved not only the world-building, visuals, and characters, but I loved how effortless and captivating it all was. I am looking forward to the full release of the game! 100/100!
Is it saying something like "“[App Name] can’t be opened because it is from an unidentified developer” ? If so, you should be able to bypass this by CNTRL clicking and selecting "open" that way.
I usually have to drag the downloaded app into "Applications," then control+click the icon. It'll say it doesn't trust the origin of the file, but there should be an 'open' option anyways. It might take a couple tries to get it to show, but it's always worked for me so long as it's in "Applications" and not "Downloads." I'm sorry if that still doesn't work for you :(
This has happened to me with other games and this one as well. If it just says "The application "___" can't be opened" then download the itch.io app first. Then download the game from the itch.io app.
I really enjoyed the story so far! The characters are really interesting and I can already tell I'm gonna have trouble choosing who to romance. I also love the writing and look forward to when the game is out.

Hello! Try these steps and let me know if it works for you.
1. Move the application to your Applications folder.
2. Open Terminal.
3. Paste
sudo chmod +x /Applications/RadiantsDemov2.1_Mac.app/Contents/MacOS/The\ Radiants\ Alpha\ Build
then press Return/Enter.
4. Enter your password when prompted and press Return again.
5. Open the Radiants application.

do you see your saved games in the load screen when you are already in the game? (as in, do their screenshots appear on the screen)
Also, check and see if the game is creating save files for you. It should be under the main game folder then Build_Data>NaninovelData>Saves

I love how the game is very well developed, with more exploration options than any other visual novel game. Very pleased
